Password Reset Instructions

To reset your password, follow the instructions below:

Please go to our new Portal at: https://my.shastacollege.edu

Once there, click the link: Forgot account email or password?

That link will provide a form, if you fill out the mandatory fields there, it will email you a temporary password for Portal and ask that you reset your password.

We recommend you close your browser completely and wait 10 minutes before attempting to sign in with the temporary password.
Use your temporary password in the current password field when it asks you to update your password.
Your new password must be at least 14 characters in length and cannot be a common phrase nor any portion of your name.
You will need to set up your account recovery method, I have included a PDF on how to set that up using your cell phone as the recovery method, do not set up your recovery method as your Shasta College email account.

Once you fill out the Recover Student Account form, you will receive an email with your temporary password. If you do not receive an email within 10 minutes, check your spam folder.
